Spring Lake Middle School Logo

Spring Lake Middle School was formed in 2021. Previously, it was called Rincon Valley Charter School, and it shared space with two separate elementary campuses. The school finally got its own home and needed a new identity.

Collaborating with the school principal, I set out to design a logo that was strong, clean, unique and embodied the school's values. The initial designs explored variations of two paths — integrating illustrations of the school’s main building with waves to represent neighboring Spring Lake, and designs featuring the new school mascot, Dragons. After multiple revisions and fine-tuning, the logo was finalized, and ready for the first class of Spring Lake Dragons.
